The 13.1 mile course will snake round the streets of Coventry and last year, this annual event saw 2,000 runners take to the street.
Anyone over seventeen years old can enter the half marathon whilst there is no age restriction for the Mercia Mile.
Former Olympian and Coventry Walk Of Famer Dave Moorcroft is supporting this event and told the Coventry Observer: "It is great that once again, the event returns to the city and we are hoping that more and more people get involved, get active and also help raise money for charity.
"Taking part in events like this is great for bringing people together whatever their ability level and reasons for entering. Coventry's got a great reputation for sport and this event provides another example of why that is the case."
