Rugby Town recorded their sixth straight Southern League Central Division victory with a 4-1 win at Beaconsfield Sycob tonight.
The storm had not affected Beaconsfield's ground just off the M40 and the match went ahead in front of a crowd of 94 with the home side taking an early lead when Hall scrambled the ball into the net at the third attempt from close range after three minutes.
However, Rugby levelled in the 35th minute when David Kolodynski scored with a low hard strike in to the bottom corner of the net and five minutes later, went in front thanks to Josh O'Grady sliding the ball home from Kolodynski's pass.
In the 58th minute, it was three when a poor kick-out was capitalised on and Kolodynski crossed low for Seb Lake-Gaskin to score and nine minutes later, it was 4-1 thanks to David Kolodynski racing races clear from Youngs' pass and curling a shot into the net from twenty yards.
