Coventry Rugby Club won their first National League One game of 2011 with a 25-19 victory over Sedgley Park at the Butts Park Arena.
A crowd of 701 saw Tom Warren give Coventry the lead on three minutes with a try which was converted by Lee Audis.
The visitors levelled in the 24th minute when Louis McGowan scored a try that Steven Nutt converted. However, it was Coventry who went in at half-time ahead when Lee Audis sent a penalty over the bar.
That lead for Coventry was increased in the 44th minute when Sam Herrington ran in a try. Sedgeley hit back with McGowan scoring a 51st minute try that Nutt converted and seven minutes later, Brett Daynes scored Coventry's third try of the game.
Steven Nutt ran in a 67th minute try to reduce Coventry's lead to a point but with four minutes left, Tom Warren ran in a try to give Coventry a 25-19 victory.
