Ryan Fisher has said that He would have been able to turn things round had he not been released by Coventry Bees Speedway Team.
Fisher has been allowed to leave for Peterborough so that Danish rider Michael Jepsen Jensen can be introduced and speaking to the Bees website, Fisher said: “It’s a bit of a bummer, but it is what it is and I guess they had to make changes. I knew I would be able to turn it around, but it’s probably a week late and that’s speedway.
“There’s a big difference going from No.3 to No.2, you have two rides that you’re expected to win whereas at No.3 really anybody can win the race.
“I was going through a bad time with equipment and problems in general, but I’ve got a couple of different things going now and it seems to be working a lot better.
“Having my family with me in Poland is one less thing that I have to worry about, I’m able to see my kids daily and that’s a big thing for me.”
