Leamington Lose But Rugby Win

Leamington FC were beaten 4-1 at North Ferriby United in a Conference North fixture.

The Brakes were a goal down in the 22nd minute and conceded a second fifteen minutes later and a third in the 40th minute.

Stefan Moore pulled one back in the 44th minute but North Ferriby scored a fourth in the second half to compound a miserable night for The Brakes.

In a Southern League Central Division game, Rugby Town beat Aylesbury 3-2.

Rugby took the lead when O'Grady played in Piggon whose chipped effort was tapped in at the far post by David Kolodynski, who scored a stunning second, finishing off Rowley's sixty yard pass.

Price pulled one back from a Goss cut back and Aylesbury were level when Simpson prodded past Cooper.

Rugby were back in front when they were awarded a penalty when McBride was bundled over by the keeper and Seb Lake-Gaskin fired high into the net to give Rugby a 3-2 win.
