Warwickshire County Cricket Club managed just twenty overs on the first day of their four day game with Worcestershire.
The Bears were 86-4 with Maddy,Westwood,Sangkkara and Trott all out cheaply when bad light stoppped play.

In the Fourth Test at Chester Le Street between England and the West Indies, play was washed out with a ball being bowled.

SPEEDWAY
The heavy rain plus thunder/lightening which is currently falling on the streets of our historic city may see tonight's home game for the Bees against Ipswich postponed like the match last night at Ipswich.
Anyone thinking of going is advised to check with the Coventry Bees before setting out.

The Carvell Coventry Bears Rugby League team who have won all six of their league matches so far this season travel to Gloucestershire Outlaws tomorrow.

AMERICAN FOOTBALL
The Coventry Jets American Football team travel to Glasgow on Sunday to play the East Kilbride Pirates. Kick off is at 2.30pm. The Jets beat Gateshead 45-7 in their last game which was played at Broad Street Rugby Club in Coventry.
