The Coventry born Olympian was named in a squad but only Harry Aikines-Aryeety, Tyrone Edgar, Ricky Fifton and Simeon Williamson were selected to run in the race which saw France win and Britain finish last after former West Ham youngster Fifton pulled up with a hamstring injury.
A great run by Joice Maduaka saw the British 4X100m Women's team finish second to the Russiana in their race in a time of 43.44.
Britain are joint top with Russia on 164 points at the end of the first day.
