Newcastle At Home For Blaze On Sunday

Last updated : 06 October 2010 By PM
This Sunday, 6pm, former Blaze alternate captain Danny Stewart will lead his own team to the Skydome Arena as Dark and Light meet!

Blaze head coach Paul Thompson has proven himself time and again, leading the Coventry Blaze to numerous pieces of silverware.

The apprentice will be hoping some of Thompson's success has rubbed off and that the Newcastle Vipers will be competing in the Skydome during this highly anticipated campaign.

Thompson commented on the forthcoming clash, "You have to give Danny full respect for what he achieved here in Coventry and what he continues to do in Newcastle. I'm looking forward to him playing against us in the Skydome on Sunday and I wish him all the best in this next stage in his career!"

During Danny's time under the hand of Thompson he demonstrated that he's always ready to battle and former team mate Greg Chambers recently commentated on radio blaze to that effect, "Danny's an energy player, and he'll be doing everything he can to get a result!"

Tickets for this Sunday's 6pm battle are on sale now from the Blaze box office 024 76 630 693 or online HERE.
