Nuneaton Play Off Hopes Look Over

Nuneaton Town's Conference Premier Play-Off hopes look to be over after they were beaten at home by Halifax.

Nuneaton had chances but in the 85th minute, Chris Smith scored to send Nuneaton to ninth in the table and move Halifax into the Play-Off places.

Leamington FC beat Worcester City 1-0 in a Conference North fixture. Chilton scored the only goal of the game in the eighth minute.

Rugby Town drew 0-0 with Chalfont St Peter in a Southern League Central Division fixture.

Stratford Town were beaten 5-1 at Merthyr. Gregory scored the goal for Stratford.

Bedworth United won 2-0 at Brigg Town. Mitch Piggon scored both goals in the second half

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Racing Club Warwick drew 4-4 at leaders Brocton, Coventry Copsewood were beaten 4-0 at home by second placed Bromsgrove Sporting, third placed Nuneaton Griff lost 4-2 at Burntwood, Atherstone moved up to fourth with a 4-2 win at Pelsall Villa. Elsewhere, Alvis drew 1-1 with Pilkington and Southam United lost 2-0 at home to Stafford Town.
