Nuneaton Up To Sixth

Nuneaton Town are up to sixth in the Conference North table.

Kevin Wilkin's side won 1-0 at Workington with a Kyle Storer 65th minute penalty.

Leamington beat Oxford City 2-0 in the Southern League Premier Division. Hood and Lewis scored the second half goals in front of a crowd of 570.

Bedworth United are through to the first round of the FA Trophy with a 3-1 victory at Brigg Town. Blythe opened the scoring in the 20th minute with Rathbone adding two more in the 21st and 29th minutes.

Rugby Town are also through winning 1-0 away to Leighton Town, thanks to a 25th minute goal from Hamilton but Atherstone are out going down to a 4-2 home defeat to Stamford.

In the FA Vase, Stratford Town are out after a 2-1 defeat at Coalville Town. Stratford's scorer was Martin Thompson against his former club.

Coventry Copsewood are also through after a 2-1 home victory against Heath Town Rangers. T. Woods and Jackson got Copsewood's goals in the second half.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Massey Ferguson beat Walsall Wood 6-1, Southam beat Pelsall Villa 3-0, Nuneaton Griff drew 3-3 at Castle Vale but Racing Club Warwick lost 7-0 at Brocton.

In Division One, Kenilworth Town lost 4-0 at Stretton Eagles.

In Division Two, Leamington Hibernian drew 1-1 with Young Warriors whilst Coventry Amatuers had a 4-3 Birmingham Junior Cup win at Quinton
