Tonight at Brandon, The Bees played host to Wolverhampton seeking to gain a win that would give them their first double victory of the season. Both sides were depleted somewhat with riders either unavailable through injury or on international duty.
The meeting began in fine style with Chris Harris leading the way in a new track record time of 57.8 seconds.
There after the Bees pulled steadily ahead over the course of the next 4 heats before a 5-1 Bees heat advantage in heat 6 took their lead to 22 points to 14.
Sadly this was the last track action of the night as a power failure in the Brandon area put paid to any further racing with the meeting abandoned at around 8.50pm.
