Jerome Murdock celebrated his fatherhood putting Paul Charnley's side ahead in front of a noisy crowd at Sphinx Drive.
Robbie Stevenson netted a second in the 48th minute with goals from Ady Fisher and Callum Woodward completing a fine win.
Covsupport sponsored Danny McSheffrey who was a second half subsititute lifted the Shield to herald wild celebrations amongst the Sphinx support,club officials,players and management.
