Sphinx Game Off

Coventry Sphinx have fallen victim to the heavy rain which was fallen over the last twelve hours in the Midlands.

The Lower Stoke based club were due to have travelled to Alvechurch FC tomorrow to face Midland Combination Premier Division side Barnt Green Spartak.

However, heavy rain has left the Lye Meadow pitch waterlogged and the game has had to be postponed.

Paul Charnley's side will now play Daventry Town on Tuesday at Warwick University. Kick off is at 7.30pm.
