The final score was 1-0 to Kirkham with Sean Patterson scoring the only goal of the game in the 47th minute, in front of a 778 strong crowd.
Paul Charnley's side were gutted that their dreams of Wembley were finally over but wished Kirkham & Wesham all the best in the competition.
"We had to defend very well in the first half," said Kirkham boss Mick Fuller. It was nothing like the game last Saturday but we got the result. "It`s a phenomenal achievement in our first season in the Vase. We've come a long, long way but we don`t want to go out now."
