Coventry Bees Speedway Team beat Poole Pirates tonight in an Elite League meeting in a meeting that was abandoned in the final heat
With Krzysytof Kasprzak back in the team, The Bees, who were using rider replacement for Stuart Robson went down to three 4-2 defeats in the opening three heats at Brandon.
However, in hear four, Scott Nicholls and Arron Summers who replaced Adam Roynon who had been excluded, rode to a 5-1 and a great ride from Zengota for a 4-2 had the Bees level at fifteen all.
It was parity for three heats but in Heat nine, Zengota and Szczepaniak chipped in with a superb 5-1 from the gate.
Two more 3-3's followed before Chris Holder reduced the lead of the Bees to two points in heat twelve with a 4-2 win.
Another two 3-3's followed meaning that the Bees were two points up going into the final heat. With Poole on a 5-1, Holder went down and was excluded. Unfortunately, his injury was serious and the meeting was abandoned with the Coventry 43-41 Poole result standing.
