Ten Wicket Defeat For Warwickshire

Warwickshire County Cricket Club suffered a ten wicket defeat against Lancashire at Old Trafford.

Lancs resumed this morning on 353-8 and Andy Miller and Boyd Rankine took the final wickets to see the home side 389 all out, some 241 runs ahead.

Despite good innings from Tim Ambrose (55), Jon Trott (44), Rikki Clarke (40), Ian Westwood (30), too many Warwickshire players struggled against Gary Keedy who took 6-50.

Warwicks ended up 244 all out, leaving the home side four to win. Jon Trott bowled the first over. The first was a dot ball and the second was hit by Tom Smith for four to give Lancashire a ten wicket win.
