Warwicks Battle Leicester And The Rain

Warwickshire County Cricket Club had to deal with the rain as they sought to build up a big first innings total against Leicestershire.

In their third County Championship game, Warwicks batted first at Edgbaston and had Darren Maddy out for a duck. The England 20/20 international and former Leicestershire player lost his wicket to Dillon Du Preez who also got Ian Westwood out for 39.

Rain continually interupted play as Ian Bell made 42 to leave Warwicks 128-4 at the close.
