The visitors Worcestershire who were beaten at New Road by Warwicks on Tuesday, won the toss and opted to field. Jon Trott and Neil Carter, who hit a six opened the batting and worked well to get Warwicks past the fifty mark.

Salisbury took the wickets of Graham Hick (28),Mitchell (5) and Batty (6) to leave Worcester reeling on 77-7 with Woakes,Martin,Gronevald and Botha all taking wickets
By the end of the 15th over, they needed more than fourteen runs an over to win. Kabir Ali departed in the next over.
That became 101-9 with Ant Botha taking the catch of Gareth Andrew. Carter knocked out Whelan's off stump and Worcester were all out for 113 to give Warwicks a win by 38 runs.
This fourth win on the trot keeps Warwicks top of the table and needing probably another win or two to make the July Semi-Finals.
