Warwickshire County Cricket Club went down to a six run 20/20 defeat against Worcestershire at New Road.
The home side batted first and were 5-2 with Porterfield catching Manuel and Ali being stumped by Tim Ambrose.
However, they recovered and went on to make 112-7 from their twenty overs with James Cameron who hit the only six of Worcestershire's innings, top scoring with 37.
When Warwicks batted, Darren Maddy was caught after making eight and then Varun Chopra was out for two to leave Warwicks on 19-2 in the second ball of the fourth over.
Will Porterfield got himself run out after making 17 and it was 48-4 when Rikki Clarke was bowled by Shantry.
Four runs later, Jim Troughton was bowled after hitting 15 and three balls later Chris Woakes was trapped lbw without scoring.
Keith Barker made five and Ant Botha four whilst at the other end, Tim Ambrose was doing his best to give Warwicks a chance of victory with an unbeaten 27.
However, Warwicks needed ten runs from the over and only got four to end the match six runs short and another defeat which pretty much ends their chances of making the next stage of the 20/20 competition.
