Warwicks Match Abandoned

Warwickshire County Cricket Club's Pro40 game against Glamorgan at Edgbaston has been abandoned.

Only 18.3 overs were possible before heavy rain came down.

Warwicks struck early through Boyd Rankie who had Rees out for a duck and then had Malcolm Powell out for one to leave the score on 10-2.

Herschelle Gibbs made an unbeaten 47 and Jamie Dalrymple was 37 before play was abandoned with the score on 90-2.

On Tuesday, Warwicks are in County Championship action when they travel to the Rose Bowl in Southampton, looking for their first win of the season against Hampshire. Play is due to start at 11am and commentary can be found on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's website.

In the Ashes match, England declared on 311-6. This set Australia 522 to win. At stumps, they were 313-5.
