Warwickshire County Cricket Club will take on England as preparations for England's Ashes series with Australia.
The game will start on Wednesday July 1st and will be a three day game.
"I think we're quite fortunate," Warwickshire director of operations Keith Cook told BBC Radio WM.
"It was an opportunity that was presented to the club some time back. "The England management had decided they wanted to get as much competitive cricket ahead of the Ashes series as they could. "They gave the opportunity to a number of counties. We threw our hat in the ring quite quickly, and we were fortunate enough to get the game."
At the end of the second day of the second test in India, the home side were 453 all out. Gambhir and Dravid put on a record breaking 314 for the second wicket but the rest of their team mates all lost their wickets for less than thirty runs a man.
Coventrian Ian Bell will bat at number three when England resume in the morning.
