The Bees travelled to Belle Vue tonight in what was a battle to gain ground over the two teams (Wolverhampton & Peterborough) in the bottom 2 places in the league table.
Both teams tracked rider replacement in place of missing riders and amazingly in the 1st heat the Bees duo of Andersen and Barker led home Belle Vue star rider Jason Crump for a 5-1 maximum heat advantage.
Sadly for the Bees the very next heat brought the scores back level with the Aces gaining immediate revenge.
The rain began to fall during heat 3 with the Bees duo of Janniro and Harris leading the way for another 5-1 maximum heat win.
A heat 4 3-3 drawn heat was followed by everyone running for cover as the rain fell in earnest and put paid to the on track action.
No new date is available for this match as yet, but the Bees are next due in action this wednesday (3rd Sept) when they travel to Poole for the replay of the knock-out cup semi-final.
Elsewhere Peterborough scored an impressive home win over top 3 side Swindon to move off the foot of the table.
