FRIDAY

SPEEDWAY
Top of the Table Coventry Bees are at home to Wolves tonight. The Bees are without Skipper Scott Nicholls and have drafted in Lee Richardson as his replacement.

The first heat is at 8pm and admission is Adults £15, Oap's/Students £10 and children £5

SATURDAY

FOOTBALL
The battle to avoid being in the bottom three of the FA Premier League come Sunday May 13th continues with four fixtures to keep an eye on. Sheffield United travel to Aston Villa, Fulham face Champions League Finalists Liverpool.West Ham face Bolton who now have Sammy Lee in charge and Wigan are at home to Middlesbrough.

In the League One race to get into the play-offs and the remaining automatic promotion spot, Bristol City are at home to Rotherham, Notts Forest are at home to Crewe, Yeovil travel to Gillingham,Oldham are at home to relegated Chesterfield whilst Play-Off hopefuls Swansea and Blackpool face each other in South Wales.

NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL
Locally, only a few games in the Midland Combination are left. Champions Coventry Sphinx travel to Bolehall Swifts with Coventry Copsewood also on the road journeying to Brocton. Nuneaton Griff are Cadbury's with Southam United entertaining Coleshill Town. 

In League One, Ettington are at home to West Midlands Police and Leamington Hibernian are at home to Thimblemill Rec.

RUGBY LEAGUE
Carvell Coventry Bears are in action after their win at Derby last week. This time, the Bears are at home to Birmingham Bulldogs in the Rugby League Conference Midland Premier Division. Kick off at Old Coventrians Rugby Club in Tile Hill is at 2.30pm.

CRICKET
Warwickshire County Cricket Club will be in day four of their County Championship game at Worcester.

SUNDAY

FOOTBALL
CHAMPIONSHIP
Coventry City complete their 2006/07 league campaign with a trip to Burnley. Kick off at Turf Moor is at 1pm the same time as the rest of the Championship matches will kick off. City need a result in order to not have a possible 19th place finishing position.
 
Both of the top two sides are away with Sunderland at Luton and Birmingham City away to Preston.

The interesting game will be at Pride Park. Derby need a win to book their play-off place whilst Leeds need to win by nine goals plus and hope that Hull lose at home to Plymouth in order to stay up.

Elsewhere, Colchester take on Palace,Ipswich are at home to Cardiff, Leicester face Wolves,Sheffield Wednesday are at home to Norwich, Southampton play Southend and West Brom play Barnsley.

AMERICAN FOOTBALL
On Sunday, the Cassidy Coventry Jets go for their third consecutive win over the season. Gerry McManus' side are at home to the London Olympians at the Ricoh Arena.

Kick off is at 2.30pm and admission is £2 for adults and £1 for children. There will be a live band, Mascots OJ the DJ, CJ and Rex plus the Kittens and Cabin Crew Cheerleaders as well as live match commentary.
