Coventry City U18's won 2-0 at Cardiff City in a re-arranged FA Premier Academy League Group B fixture this lunch-time.
In a game described by Academy boss Greg Ricoh as 'the result of the season', the Sky Blues, were forced to field a young side due to injuries and ended up having four U16's players in Ryan Smith, Ivor Lawton, Courtney Baker-Richardson and Jack Finch all involved late on against a Cardiff side which included three U19's.
City goals at the Cardiff International Stadium came in the last twenty minutes through an own goal and one from Courtney Richards.
The Sky Blues are third in the table, a point behind second placed Leicester and two behind leaders Reading.
