Coventry City travel tonight in the Birmingham Senior Cup First Round.
The Sky Blues, who last won the competition in 2007, are back in the competiion, ending the years where the club have paid not to enter and travel to face Halesowen Town from the Northern Premier League.
According to the new competition rules, City can only play players who are registered to play League One football (have a squad number) and the Sky Blues are likely to field a stronger team than they would for an U21 game, although the club website have said the team will be a mix of U21 and U18's players. By Car: Get to Junction 3 of the M5. Head towards Kidderminster on the A458 for a mile or so to the first traffic island at the bottom of the hill. Turn right on to the A459 towards Dudley (the cricket ground should now be on your left) and continue past where the road splits to the next island. Turn left here on to the A456 towards Stourbridge until you get to the next island. Take the 3rd exit (Old Hawne Lane) and the ground is about 400 yards away, at the top of the hill on the left.
