TEAM NEWS
Iain Dowie hopes that Michael Mifsud will be fit to play. The striker missed the abandoned game at Sheffield Wednesday with what Dowie described as a slight hamstring twinge. Leon McKenzie goes into the game looking for the 100th goal of his career.
Stern John is likely to start for The Saints as is Yousseff Safri. Southampton do have injury worries with Nathan Dyer, the latest to add to a long line. Darryl Powell is fit and available for selection whilst Wayne Thomas and John Viafara should have overcome a bout of flu in time for the game.
