TRAVEL
By car: Leave the M6 at junction 3. Take the A444 towards the City centre and at the first island go left and you will see the Ricoh Arena on your right.
By rail: For all train information call National Rail Enquiries on: 08457 48 49 50, but be warned Coventry station is a £10+ taxi ride away. Take the 27 bus from the train station get off at Pool Meadow bus station and catch the 4 or 5 service. Or go out of doors and over the road by Sainsburys and get the 20, getting off the by Tescos.
PARKING
Parking: Car parking is extremely restricted around the ground.
City supporters can now pay on the day to park at the Ricoh Arena before Coventry City home games. £10 will be charged to park in Car Park A and C with £7 for Car Park B.
Parking places are subject to availability and motorists will not be allowed to leave the car parks A & B for twenty minutes after the final whistle.
Park And Ride
The park and ride site is at The Oak Pub in Baginton near to Coventry Airport.
Parking at the two park and walk sites at Christ the King Football Club in Wheelwright Lane and St Finbarrs and Wayside Business Park in Wilsons Lane. Vehicles can park there for £5.50 per game.

THE LAST TIME
This is the 51st league and cup match between the two sides. City have won 24 and drawn 15. They have scored 87 goals compared to Barnsley's. 63.
The last league game between the two sides was at the Ricoh Arena on January 9th 2010 and saw a 3-1 victory for the Sky Blues. Goals from Freddy Eastwood and Sammy Clingan has City 2-0 up before the break and although Jon Macken pulled one back in the 49th minute, Clinton Morrison wrapped up victory in stoppage time, watched by a crowd of 15,301.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Championship fixture against Barnsley at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday afternoon is Tony Bates from Staffordshire.
Mr Bates works in the pottery industry and became a qualified referee in 1983. Ten years later, he was appointed to become a National List assistant referee and then FIFA assistant referee 1996 where he was appointed for matches during Euro 96. Mr Bates joined the National List of Referees in July 1996 and is one of the longest serving referees on that list. His other career highes have been an Assistant Referee at the 1995 Charity Shield 1995 and an assistant at the 1996 FA Cup Final.
This will be his 12th game of the season so far and and his fifth Championship match. Mr Bates has shown 30 yellow cards and three reds.
His last Coventry City match was the 1-0 victory at Birmingham City on November 3rd 2008 and previous matches include the 3-2 home League Cup defeat to Newcastle in August 2008, the 2-0 defeat at Burnley where he failed to spot a deliberate handball by Kyle Lafferty which lead to the opening goal in February 2008, the 2-1 win at QPR in November 2007, the 2-0 defeat at Reading in January 2006, the 5-2 win at Gillingham on May 1st 2004 and the 2-1 defeat at Ipswich in November 2002,
His assistants are Marvyn Amplett from Worcestershire and Steve Bratt from Birmingham, The Fourth Official is Sasa Ihringova from Shropshire. ____________________________________________________________________
