BETTING TIPS
An impressive win against Leeds was followed by the disappointment of a 2-0 loss to fellow relegation strugglers Nottingham Forest last week, but all is not lost for the Sky Blues.
Financially unstable Portsmouth went into administration days later and were handed a 10 point deduction, plunging them into the mire and boosting Coventry's hopes of survival in the process.
This Saturday's game against Barnsley will give them a chance to gain momentum again, building upon the 2 wins out of their last three at the Ricoh Arena. The bookies make Coventry favourites for this one, pricing them up at 11/8 for a win.
Recommended football betting tip:
Coventry -0.5/-1 on the Asian Handicap @ 8/5 - BET NOW
After being made favourites, we have tried to find a better value in backing the Sky Blues to tank the Tkyes, and at a price of 8/5 we think we have found it on the asian handicap.
With all their wins this season coming at home, Coventry will be depending on their home form to keep them up and this game is a winnable one for Andy Thorn's men.
With this bet you will get half a stake payout for a one goal win and a full stake pay out for a 2 goal win. Considering Barnsley have lost by three goals in three of their last four visits to the Ricoh, it seems a fair price and a good bet.
