By Road Leave the M5 motorway at junction 18, travel along the Portway (A4) following the signs for Bristol Airport/Taunton (A38). Over the swing bridge (Brunel Way), branching left into Winterstoke Road, and left again at Cruickshanks Mercedes Garage for Ashton Gate.

Street parking is limited so please arrive early and adhere to parking restrictions. Alternatively call Youcanpark Ltd on 0871 200 3261 to pre-book limited secure parking (at BS3 2HA) and near the stadium for £3.50 per car.

By Bus Buses are supplied by Abus 'Service A' which costs a flat rate of 50p. The buses pick-up one hour before kick-off from the following places - Temple Meads, Old Market (Temple Way), Haymarket, Centre, Anchor Road, Hotwells. The buses return to all those destinations after the match, leaving from Ashton Road, by the Greville Smyth Park.

This will be the 61st meeting between the two sides. Coventry City have won 20 and drawn 19 . They have scored 88 goals compared to Bristol City's 87.

The last time City played at Ashton Gate, they won 2-1 with Clive Platt and Ben Turner scoring for the Sky Blues.

That was City's first win at Ashton Gate since 1976 when City won 1-0 in a League Cup tie  and is their record league victory, City did once score three goals in a 3-3 draw in an FA Cup tie in Jan 2007. Their record defeat is a 5-0 defeat on a very cold day on Boxing Day 1978.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The referee currently appointed to take charge of Coventry City's next game, the trip to Bristol City is Scott Mathieson from Stockport.

Scott started refereeing after seeing  an advert in his local paper, inviting prospective Referees to join a course. A former Stockport County trialist, he progressed through the Mid-Cheshire and Northern Premier leagues and Conference and on to the League line in 1990. In 1994, he refereed his first Football League game when Carlisle United played Wigan Athletic.

His last City game was the 4-1 win at Barnsley in August 2007. Other City matches include the 2-0 defeat at Sunderland in February 2007, the 2-2 at Burnley in October 2004, the 2-1 home defeat to Preston in November 2002.

This season he has had 36 matches and shown 88 yellow cards and 2 red.

His assistants will be Andy Davies from Hampshire and Tony Horton from Wolverhampton. The fourth official will be William Bull from Hampshire.
