​Club coaches leave White Street at 11am and costs £14.50.

There is a very large car park at the ground which costs £5 per car per game. Car park tickets can be purchased in advance from the Ticket Office on 0871 221 2001. Beware of a residents parking scheme which is in operation around on many roads around the ground.

By road:

North: From Liverpool city centre, travel through the Queensway Mersey Tunnel (signposted Birkenhead) and after the toll booths (there is a £1.50 charge for cars), bear right onto the flyover. The ground is signposted from here. Continue along Borough Road for approximately 2 miles and the ground appears in front of you.

South / East: M6, M56 and M53 to J4. Take the fourth exit from the roundabout onto the B5151 (Mount Road). Continue for 2.5 miles when Mount Road becomes Storeton Road and turn right onto Prenton Road West at traffic lights. The ground is on the righthand side in 200 yards.

By rail:

Nearest Stations: Conway Park / Birkenhead Central / Rock Ferry

From Liverpool Lime Street: Head for the Wirral Line lower level station and board a New Brighton or West Kirby train to Conway Park, or an Ellesmere Port or Chester train to Birkenhead Central or Rock Ferry.

From Chester: Board a Liverpool train and get off at Rock Ferry or Birkenhead Central.

From Conway Park: Turn right outside the station and walk 100 yards to Birkenhead Bus Station.

From Birkenhead Central: Cross Argyle Street and walk along Borough Road which runs parallel to the flyover. The ground is approximately a 30 minute walk.

From Rock Ferry: The ground is a 15 minute walk. Turn right outside the station onto Bedford Road. Continue along Bedford Avenue and Bedford Drive until you reach a road junction shortly after Prenton High School. Continue onto Mount Road and turn right at the first set of traffic lights onto Borough Road - the ground is five minutes on the left.

By bus:

Merseytravel (0151 236 7676)  From Liverpool Sir Thomas Street: catch cross-river services 464 (Prenton Park), 472 (Singleton Avenue) or 488 (Mount Road).

From Birkenhead Bus Station: catch services 41, 42, 71 or 72 (Singleton Avenue), or 83, 83A, 177, 464 (Prenton Park).

All National Express Birkenhead services call at Birkenhead Bus Station.

THE LAST TIME

​Saturday will be the fourteenth meeting between Tranmere Rovers and Coventry City.

City go into the game having won six of the games and lost seven including the 5-1 mauling at Sixfields earlier this season. The Sky Blues have scored 18 goals to Tranmere's 26.

Coventry have won only once at Prenton Park. That was back on December 17th 1938 when City won 2-1.

Last season, Coventry went down to a 2-0 defeat. Jake Cassidy and Andy Robinson scored the goals in the final twelve minutes of a match which saw Tranmere top of the league.

MATCH OFFICIALS

​The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's League One game at Tranmere Rovers is Andy Madley from West Yorkshire.

This is his third season on the national referees list and will be his second City game this season, after he was in charge of the 1-1 draw at Hartlepool United in which he cautioned two players.

His only other City game was the 2-2 draw against Bury on August 25th 2012.

In 2013-14 he has refereed 27 games, showing 77 yellow cards and four reds along the way. His last match in charge was Bolton's 2-2 draw against Bournemouth in the Championship.

The assistants are David Benton and Iain Siddall with Michael Denton the Fourth Official.
