By Car
M1 to junction 5 and take the A4408 towards Watford Town Centre. This will take you round the ring road and follow the signs for Watford General Hospital as the ground is next to the hospital.

From the North: Join the M25 and follow until Junction 20. Exit and follow signs for Hempstead Road, follow Hempstead Road into central Watford. Follow the large roundabout system at the end of Hempstead Road and exit towards Rickmansworth A412. Follow this road for 1/4 mile and turn left at the end of the underpass. Go through two traffic lights and turn left into 'The Hornets' at the East end of Vicarage Road.

From the South: Join the M25 and head north past M4/Heathrow, then past the M40 Oxford Exit at Junction 16. Take the exit at Junction 18. The slip road goes up to a bridge going across the motorway, turn left towards Rickmansworth. Head down into Rickmansworth until you arrive at a large roundabout near Rickmansworth BR station. Turn left here along the A412 towards Watford. Follow signs into Croxley Green. Continue straight over at the two roundabouts past Croxley, then take the fifth right exit on to Harwood Road. Continue straight down, heading straight over the traffic lights, until you come to the end of the road. At the end turn left and you will now be on Vicarage Road, continue for a few hundred metres and you will see the ground on your right hand side.

By train and tube
The nearest station is Watford High Street, a ten minute walk away from the ground. Watford Junction train station is about a 20 minute walk. Directions from Watford Junction are as follows:

Leave the station and take the main road straight opposite (Clarendon Road) all the way over the Ring Road at the lights and up to the High Street. Turn left and go past the Wetherspoons (Moon under Water) on your right and then take the first right after 100 yards into Market Street. Continue along again crossing Ring Road to T junction and then left the chip shop. Vicarage Road is the next right turn.

Watford also has its own London Underground tube station, which is on the Metropolitan Line and is situated just under one mile from Vicarage Road.

Parking
There is no parking available for fans at the ground and street parking is exclusively restricted for local residents by way of matchday permits. Parking is not permitted in Watford General Hospital.

Watford town centre has several car parks, the easiest of which for access to Vicarage Road is Church Car Park on the inside of the ring-road, opposite the turn-off into Vicarage Road. All town centre car parks are within a ten minute walk of Vicarage Road. Other possibilities are Watford Grammar School for Girls and Cassiobury Park Avenue, Laurence Haines School (further down Vicarage Road past the hospital), and Fishers Industrial Estate off Wiggenhall Road.

If possible, get a ticket in advance as prices increase by £5 for tickets bought on the day, according to Watford's official website.

Adults £25 Adult Disabled and Carer £25. £15 for Over 65's, 16-19's and Students 25 and under, £10 for U16's.

THE LAST TIME
This is the 76th time the two sides have met. City have won 27 occasions with 12 draws and have scored 105 goals compared to Watford's 128.

The last game between the two sides on May 2nd at the Ricoh Arena saw a 4-0 victory for Watford and the demise of manager Chris Coleman who was sacked two days later.

The corresponding fixture last season saw a 3-2 victory for City at Vicarage Road. Sammy Clingan fired City ahead in the 14th minute only for Tom Cleverley and Will Hoskins to fire the Hornets in front. In the second half, Leon Best netted in the 65th and 84th minute to give City the win.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Championship game at Watford is Trevor Kettle.

Mr Kettle, who is currently listed as a member of the Rutland Referees Association, is no stranger to Coventry City. The RAF Air Traffic Controllor refereed a number of reserve team matches on his way up onto the national league list which he joined in 2003.

So far this season, he had two matches and both have resulted in away wins, the first was Huddersfield's 3-0 victory at Notts County and the second was Millwall's extra time League Cup win at Wycombe on Tuesday night. His last match at Vicarage Road also saw an away win with Swansea winning 1-0 on March 9th last season.

Mr Kettle's last City first team game was the 0-0 draw with Reading at the Ricoh Arena on April 4th 2009 in which he cautioned seven players.

Other City matches include the 2-1 defeat at Sheffield United on March 11th 2008 (7 cautioned again), the 4-1 defeat at Ipswich on September 22nd 2007 (3 cautioned), the 3-0 defeat at Birmingham on April 1st 2007 (2 cautioned), the 3-1 win over Cardiff on April 30th 2006 (3 cautioned), the 4-0 defeat at Watford on Feb 11th 2006 (5 cautioned), the 2-2 at Ipswich on October 18th 2005 (3 cautioned), the 1-1 home draw with Ipswich Town on January 31st 2004 (4 cautioned).
