Kids For A Quid For Southampton Game

Coventry City have announced that Saturday's home game against Southampton will be Kids For A Quid Day.

Whilst the club is running the three games for £50 for adults in certain areas promotion, the club have decided to try and boost the gate for this televised game which kicks off at 5.20pm by offering Kids For A Quid.

According to the club website, "Any child aged 15 or under on August 31, 2008, will be able to buy a ticket for £1 up until the 5.20pm kick off for Saturday's match and the promotion applies to all areas of the ground."

There is no mention as to if this only applies to children with an accompanying adult.

Kids For A Quid is a long standing idea promoted by the Football League. Originally, raised at meetings with supporters groups and the Football League, Kids For A Quid has been in existence since 1998 and all Football League member clubs are expected to have this promotion at least once a season.
