Saturday's home game against Bristol City will be the last chance for City season ticket holders to use up the £7 credit on their cards.
The "gift" from Arena Coventry Limited and Compass Catering cannot be redeemed and must be spent on refreshments in the concourses around the ground.
Any monies left on the card will be shared between ACL and Compass who have forced the cashless payment system through in the hope of cloawing back some of their losses by making a profit out of supporters.
In order to buy any refreshments in future, the card will need to be topped up either on-line or from one of the lime green clad staff.
As re-iterated by Ray Ranson at the Fans Forum, Coventry City FC do not get a penny from the catering outlets.
