Coventry City Chairman Ray Ranson has said that he has been aggressive with the season ticket prices.

"We have a big job on to get the attendance up," said Ranson to the CT. "Times are hard and we are well aware of that and we have come out with some really agressive pricing and a few initiatives and this is a big rallying cry tothe supporters that we desperately need their help if we are to get this club back to the Premiership.

"We are doing our best to make it a really good offer for next season. "We have spoken about pricing at length and come up with something that is really attractive to everyone.

"We will have a big push and we need fans to buy into what we are doing. I think the message is getting across that we are in for the long term and I think people understand how we are taking the club forward but we do need the fans to support us."

Nathan Kosky, City's Commercial Director told the Club Website: "We realise that the economic climate is making things tough for some of our supporters so we have looked at every possible way to keep prices down whilst maintaining our need to drive the club forward onto a more sustainable financial footing.

"In Zone 3 and the JSB Zone we have brought prices down significantly on 'Early Bird' season tickets with adult fans able to buy a season ticket from as little as £259 - just over £11 a game - and families are able to bring an adult and two children for under £18 a match in the JSB Zone by signing up for season tickets.

"We were determined to offer some great value options, especially for families.

"We want to make it clear to our supporters that buying an Early Bird season ticket remains easily the best value option to support the Sky Blues throughout the year

"We have also added a whole bunch of benefits that only season ticket holders will receive." "This include include a free gift, commemorative season review, discounted 'buddy' tickets and merchandise as well as a chance to meet the players at special 'season ticket holder only' events.

Kosky said: "I think most supporters would agree that this season has been a big improvement on the last - you only have to look at the run of results and atmosphere at the Ricoh Arena recently.

"Everyone connected to the club believes we can take another significant step forward next season."

Season tickets go on sale on March 16th and the The Early Bird offer ends on May 24 and will not be revised as in previous seasons.

The interest free payment scheme over eight months will again be in operation.
