Covsupport News Service is backing calls for Coventry City to introduce an integrated ticket/travel scheme.
The scheme is one whereby anyone with a season ticket or match ticket can use public transport anywhere in the CV postal code free of charge, four hours before a game and three hours after the final whistle, to get to a game and home.
This scheme has been in operation in countries like Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Austria for years and closer to home at Brighton & Hove Albion.
We support such a scheme, which Wasps could also be a part of for their matches, as getting to the Ricoh Arena and the costs associated with that, has become prohibitive for many and urge the club and transport authorities in the area to discuss this matter before season tickets go on sale.
