Travelling Costs To Increase

If the cost of petrol which at some garages in Coventry is as high as £1.08 a litre or (nearly £5 a gallon in old money),was not bad enough.

It has been announced that the M6 Toll Road and train fares will increase.

The M6 Toll fee for the 27 mile stretch of motorway between Coleshil to Cannock in Staffordshire will now rise by 50p to £4.50 during the day for cars with the cost for vans, coaches and HGV's rising by £1 to £9 during the day.

The rises take effect from January 2nd.

Train fares are expected to rise by anything up to 14% also starting from January 2nd.
