Coventry City Reserves put all their released players on view and cruised to an easy 4-0 win against Port Vale.
With the list of players being released finally announced, Frankie Bunn and Steve Ogrizovic included all those who have been told they can find other clubs to put them in the shop window on a very cold afternoon at Liberty Way.
City Reserves, who wont be in a league next season, started brightly, winning two corners and a Robbie Simpson shot which dipped over from 25 yards inside the first three minutes.
In the sixth minute,City took the lead when Chris Birchall tapped home an Ellery Cairo cross from the right.
Less than two minutes later,it was two when Robbie Simpson broke through to fire past Vale keeper Martin.
Simpson, who was playing up front with Chris Birchall and interesting a number of scouts, broke through in the 18th minute but this time,Martin blocked with his feet.
By now,the Sky Blues were rampant and in the 25th minute,Michael Hughes played a neat one two with Lee Hildreth and raced inside the area to finish smartly for City's third.
With De Zeeuw, debutant Curtis Wynter and Hawkins commanding at the back,Danny Ireland only had to deal with routine catches.
Stuart Giddings came on at the break for Curtis Wynter and Corner number seven came in the 53rd minute and was met by the head of Arjan De Zeeuw. Unfortunately, his effort went the wrong side of the post.
Reserves joint top scorer Wayne Andrews replaced Robbie Simpson in the 55th minute and fifteen minutes later, was involved in a series of little flicks which fell to Ellery Cairo to direct a shot onto the roof of the stand.
City pressed once more to win a 73rd minute corner. Cairo's kick found Giddings some twenty yards out. A punt forwards and Arjan De Zeeuw got behind the back of the defence to score from six yards.
Five minutes from time, Wayne Andrews, who was attracting interest from the scouts from Swansea, wrapped up an easy win for the Sky Blues when he thumped home with a left footed drive.
