Coventry City Reserves chances of making the Pontins League Play-Offs increased this afternoon when West Brom Reserves lost 2-0 at Stoke City.
The result keeps the Sky Blues second in the table and victories in their last two games would see them finish second with forty points, well behind Central Division Champions Nottingham Forest whom the Sky Blues travel to tomorrow.
If Frankie Bunn's side win the game at Forest and the home game against Bradford City at Liberty Way on Monday April 21st and other results go their way, they are in with a good shout of making the fourth slot in the play-offs which will be held on April 30th.
Morecambe, who play West Brom in the League Cup Final next week, and Preston vie for the Western Division title whilst Hartlepool and Sheffield United are the top two with Wednesday third in the Eastern Division.
City are likely to be without Stuart Giddings for the game at the City Ground which kicks off at 2pm (admission is free). The defender limped off with a hamstring injury in the 63rd minute of the 3-0 win at Shrewsbury Town last Monday.
