Coventry City Reserves were beaten 2-1 in a behind closed doors practice match against Hereford United this afternoon.
Jacob Blackwell scored for the Sky Blues in the second half whilst Hereford's goals came from Mathieu Manset and Matthew Done both in the opening 45 minutes.
City fielded a team which saw trialist from Hinckley United Connor Franklin play at left back in a four man back four alongside Curtis Wynter, Jermaine Grandison and Nathan Cameron with Michael Quirke in goal.
In midfield, City started with Chris Hussey, Adam Walker, Conor Grogan and Jacob Blackwell whilst Robert Ogleby and Callum Wilson lead the attack.
