Coventry City U18's are still without a win after a 2-0 defeat at Watford

Greg Rioch named a side which saw Neil Collett back in goal for this game at Shenly.

City did not get the run of decisions from the assistant referee early on.

The assistant missed a handball by the Hornet's centre half and in the eighth minute, the City defence appealed for offside with the official not up with play as Forbes raced through and beat Collett with a low drive from fourteen yards.

The Sky Blues defended well with Brad Jones playing his part in a back four after replacing the injured Chris Hollist.

City's best chances in the half came in the last ten minutes. Dean Marshall got up after being fouled to strike a 34th minute free kick from twenty yards which the keeper pushed over the bar. Two minutes before the break, Adam Walker volleyed wide.

Rioch's side started well in the second half. Reis Ashraf had a right footed volley saved and in the 47th minute,Dean Marshall struck the post with a six yard shot.

Waford countered with Collett making a fine save getting down to his left to push away a Forbes effort.

In the 50th minute,Watford wrapped up the match when Henderson flicked home a cross from the left.

Youngsters Ebenezer Obori and Jordan Clarke were given run-outs but as the pace of Marshall won a couple of corners.

In the last seconds,Collett saved with his feet to keep the score down to a 2-0 defeat.
