Coventry City U18's were beaten 3-0 at home by Watford this morning.
On a wet morning at the Alan Higgs Centre, City had chances but fell behind in the 26th minute when the card happy referee awarded a penalty for handball and Watford's number 10 slotted home from the spot kick.
City, fielding a number of U16's players, continued to battle but conceded a second in the 72nd minute when Watford's number ten came in and thumped the ball home and with six minutes to go, a simple tap-in gave Watford a third goal and a 3-0 defeat for the Sky Blues who travel to Crystal Palace next Saturday.
