Coventry City U18's were beaten 4-2 at home to Birmingham City today.
On a cold but sunny morning at the Alan Higgs, City were a goal down in five minutes, when their striker raced through and round Konrad Skuza to score.
City levelled in the 47th minute when great work from Jak Hickman played in Kyle Finn who tapped home but the lead lasted less than two minutes as their number ten cut through the defence before firing high into the net.
In the 67th minute, Jay Albini got City level again when he cut inside on the left and curled a shot into the far corner of the net.
However, in the 78th minute, Birmingham went back in front when the ball came lose after a Skusa save and it was lashed high into the net.
With six minutes left, City had Skusa sent off for taking down a player. Jordan Thompson went in goal but he had no chance with the resulting penalty which Hales converted for his fourth goal of the game.
