Coventry City U18's were beaten 3-1 by Sheffield Wednesday this morning.
On a wet morning at the Alan Higgs Centre, Jason Farndon was forced to shuffle his pack due to call ups to City's first team.
His side took on a strong Wednesday side who attacked from the start and they took the lead in the 17th minute with a flick from their striker.
The Sky Blues came back with two corners and then a stunning strike in the 35th minute from Kyle Finn but in the 43rd minute, Wednesday were back in front with a neat move.
Wednesday, who lost 9-3 to Birmingham City in the week, scored a third in the 68th minute with a powerful finish to send City to defeat.
