Coventry City U18's kick off their pre-season campaign with a game at AFC Bournemouth on Saturday.
Greg Rioch's side have been training on the South Coast for the last couple of days and will use the trip to gain fitness in the same away that the first team used their trip to Austria.
The Academy boss will use the trip to give some of the younger players who have come up from the U16's some experience whilst the likes of Michael Quirke, Nathan Cameron, Callum Wilson, Jordan Clarke and Shaun Jeffers are on first team duty.
