Coventry City U18's take on Cardiff City U18's today in a home FA Academy League Group B fixture. This will be the first game of 2009 for Greg Rioch's side after the washout at Birmingham City last Saturday.

City go into the game third in the table with 29 points from 14 matches, eight behind leaders Spurs who have played two more games. Aston Villa are second after losing 2-0 at Leicester City.

With first team considerations ruling out Curtis Wynter and Adam Walker, Greg Rioch is again expected to name a youngish side.

Cardiff are eighth in the table with sixteen points from sixteen matches and last Saturday, drew 3-3 at home to Bristol City.

The referee for the game which kicks off at 11.30am is A.P.Barney.
