Coventry City U18's were well beaten by Birmingham City this morning.
Birmingham had the first attack on a wet day at the Alan Higgs Centre with an early free kick that was dealt with by Alex Gott.
Baker-Richardson had a header saved before Gott came out and took a corner.
In the 21st minute, Eli Bako won a corner, Jack Finch got in a great header which agonisingly went over the bar.
Gott made a great save and in the 27th minute, got down to stop a shot following a free kick.
In the 32nd minute, City took the lead with a great counter attack. Courtney Baker-Richardson broke down the right and finished smartly past the visiting keeper.
Birmingham drew level in the 39th minute with a stunning strike from Kyle Macfarlane which flew high into the net from twenty yards out.
Three minutes later, Birmingham took the lead when the ball came back off the post and fell for Liam Truslove to score from eight yards.
The second half was three minutes old when Gott made a great save diving to his left. However, the ball went loose and Kyle Macfarlane was able to tap into the net.
Ian Foster and Greg Rioch made a triple change in the 55th minute, But eleven minutes later, it was four when Liam Truslove slotted in from 13 yards.
City had a late flourish but were well beaten.
