Coventry City U21's completed their PDL League 2 North campaign with 1-0 at Huddersfield Town.
At Huddersfield's Canalside complex, Lee Carsley's side were under pressure with the City keeper having to save from Jordan Sinnott in the fifteenth minute.
Ten minutes later and Coventry 'keeper spilt a Sinnott cross and Crooks had his shot headed off the line.
In the last twenty minutes of the match, City came back into it with two chances.
But with four minutes left, Huddersfield moved into second place when former Millwall and Derby player Theo Robinson played in Jordan Sinnott to score and see City end with a defeat.
