City U21's Lose To Leeds

Coventry City U21's have lost all of their matches since Lee Glover took over and this poor run continued with a 2-1 home defeat to Leeds United.

In a game at the Alan Higgs Centre on a blowy day, the Sky Blues fielded a young side against an experienced Leeds side.

However, City were ahead after six minutes when Bas Sambou broke down the right and thumped the ball past Grimes in the Leeds goal.

Leeds drew level in the first minute of stoppage time when Parkin scored from close range from a Doukara pass.

Twenty seconds into the second half and Leeds were in front after Addai parried a shot and the ball was squared to Casper Sloth at the far post to score.

Corey Addai made some great saves, otherwise Leeds would have had ten and Ryan Haynes some great runs, but City were beaten by the better side.
