City U21's With A Hull Of A Win

Coventry City U21's beat Hull City 3-0 this afternoon. 

In their penultimate game of the season, Lee Glover had Jordan Willis in defence with Jordan Shipley in for Vladimir Gadzhev with Stephen Hunt dropped.

City had two early corners against a Hull side which was lucky to still have eleven players when Josh Baker hacked down Bilal Sayoud. Thankfully, the winger was able to continue.

George Thomas got onto a Spence bal in the 51st minute but fired into the side netting. 

In the 55th minute, Hull were down to ten men when Ellis Barkworth was given a red card for hauling down George Thomas who wa through on goal.

Jordan Willis who had a touch of cramp was replaced in the 62nd minute.

Three minutes later, City won a corner. Ben Stevenson, who got the ball from Thomas, picked out Callum Maycock who drove high into the net to put the Sky Blues ahead.

In the 74th minute, City were two goals up when a defender made a mistake and George Thomas pounced to score from close range.

Three minutes later and Lee Glover's side rounded of a fine performance when Kyle Finn lashed home from the edge of the area.
