Coventry City U23's were beaten 2-1 at Millwall this afternoon.
City travelled to Hayes Lane, Bromley and fielded a pretty much as expected side against a side which had been in good form until they lost 4-1 at Colchester last week.
The Sky Blues fell behind in the 34th minute when Alfie Pavey headed home a free kick.
In the 53rd minute, they were level when Devon Kelly-Evans played in George Thomas who ran through to score.
Nine minutes from the end, Pavey scored again from fifteen yards for Millwall who had Harry Donovan sent off in the 86th minute for a second booking and it was a defeat for the Sky Blues, who are in Birmingham Senior Cup action next Monday.
